OMD3 Day 30: My nails and my bag

I couldn't decide if I loved these or didn't like them at all. Then I realised that was my first thought when my in-laws gave me my bag and I absolutely love it!

OMD3 Day 28: Princess

I've done a few of the Disney princesses and I've done Princess Peach earlier in the month. I decided to stick with that theme and did another Nintendo Princess, Princess Rosalina. She's the celestial/galaxy princess. Just like Princess Peach, I based the manicure off of the bottom of her dress. My thumb looks like a galaxy with a dark blue holo.

OMD3 Day 27: Wings

I am OBSESSED with these nails, as you can probably tell by the number of pictures I'm posting. I was initially going to do a butterfly nail accent, but then I saw my favourite scarf and realized I had to do that. I've tried to paint butterflies before, but this is by far my favourite one I've done. I don't want to take them off, but I'm so far behind on this challenge that I've only got a couple more days and a lot more prompts to do.

OMD3 Day 26: Peace

I wanted to make 'peace' look as hippie as possible, so I wanted to do something that looked tie-dye. I also decided to use tape to make a peace sign in negative space. I'm not sure how I like the peace sign in comparison to the tie-dye because it gets sort of lost. It may have worked better with thicker tape, though.

OMD3 Day 24: Flames

I loved the fire that I did last time, so I wanted to do something similar. I also love silhouettes on nails, so I wanted to combine to two. I decided to paint people watching a bonfire. When I showed my husband he said, "Oh good, it's not people burning to death!" No, it's not...

OMD3 Day 23: Under the Sea

What's better for under the sea than the little mermaid herself! The purple shell top doesn't quite picture the correct way since it shows up more brown. The polish used for her tail was a polish that I got from What's In-die Box when they did a Disney Princess themed one. It's Ariel by Glam Polish.

OMD3 Day 22: Star Sign

Since I was born in late May, my star sign is Gemini. I decided to do a bit of glitter placement. I don't have any loose glitter, so I was attempting to take the bigger glitter pieces from a glitter polish. I used that for the main stars and then I used a silver holo for the connecting lines and as random bits of stars on the other nails.

OMD3 Day 21: Travel

I struggled with a design for these nails for a while. Then I googled travel and found some inspiration from pictures of a map with famous attractions coming on top. I decided to use Australia with the Sydney Opera House, France with the Eiffel Tower, Italy with the Tower of Pisa, and Michigan (where I'm from) with cherries. Unfortunately the colour of the water and the colour of the countries are too dark to show up well in the pictures.

OMD3 Day 20: Jewels

I got a polish called Bejeweled a little over a month ago. I used to be OBSESSED with the game Bejeweled, so I knew that I needed to get it. I also loved the colour and wanted incorporate it into the Jewels theme. Then I thought about doing a necklace-looking French tip. The super sparkly glitter of the gem crush and holo polishes didn't show up too well in the pictures, though.

OMD3 Day 18: Love

I'm not sure what brought on this idea, but when I did think of it, I knew that I had to pay tribute to my love of nail polish. My spacing was a little off on the first nail, but it says 'live.' Live. Love. Polish!
