All the babies!

My husband and I are loving this stage of life where all of our friends are a bit older than us and having babies. It means we get the cute without the responsibilities! We both love babies, we just aren't ready for our own yet.

We already have two couples that had adorable baby girls and this weekend our friend had a shower for the baby boy that they're expecting next month. It was fun and we can't wait to meet him.

I've been struggling for some nail ideas, so I knew I had to take advantage of an event to create an idea. My left hand matches the wrapping paper and my right hand says boy with some fuzzy polish on the other fingers since it reminded me of confetti. My hand was going to say "It's a boy" but I messed up my pinkie with the "it's a" bit and didn't have time to try to rewrite it.

OMD3 Day 31: My nails and my perfume

I don't wear perfume, but my now-husband's aunt gave me a travel perfume set for Christmas. I thought that this one with the gradient is gorgeous. I loved how this manicure turned out, but it was difficult to photograph. I wanted to give the look of the transparency of perfume, so I used one of the OPI sheer tints for the blue and I realised that one of my purples was also pretty sheer. I was so glad!

*note: I didn't finish this one until after the challenge was over, so it's not on the inlinkz. *

OMD3 Day 25: Weather

My plan for this theme was just a basic blue sky with clouds. They were pretty simple.

OMD3 Day 19: Lipstick

This manicure was a nightmare. I received these lipstick kisses decals from the born pretty store as a free gift from my purchase a while ago. They weren't at all like the decals that I've had before. The instructions made no sense because they were making it not stick. Even if they would have, the design would be backwards. I think this was my third attempt, which I ended up just flipping it over.

OMD3 Day 16: Fast Food

My husband loves to cook and we almost never eat fast food. But Grill'd is a burger place in Australia and it borders between actual food and fast food. They also have zucchini fries, which are amazing!

OMD3 Day 29: My nails and my drink

My nickname while growing up was CCG which stood for Coca-Cola Girl. However I haven't drank coke for a while and actually prefer Sprite. (Sprite is owned by Coke, though, so it's ok.) I also already did Coca-Cola nails, so I wanted to do Sprite. Plus I had the Sprite themed OPI, Green on the Runway. I created an old logo on my middle finger.

OMD3 Day 30: My nails and my bag

I couldn't decide if I loved these or didn't like them at all. Then I realised that was my first thought when my in-laws gave me my bag and I absolutely love it!

OMD3 Day 28: Princess

I've done a few of the Disney princesses and I've done Princess Peach earlier in the month. I decided to stick with that theme and did another Nintendo Princess, Princess Rosalina. She's the celestial/galaxy princess. Just like Princess Peach, I based the manicure off of the bottom of her dress. My thumb looks like a galaxy with a dark blue holo.

OMD3 Day 27: Wings

I am OBSESSED with these nails, as you can probably tell by the number of pictures I'm posting. I was initially going to do a butterfly nail accent, but then I saw my favourite scarf and realized I had to do that. I've tried to paint butterflies before, but this is by far my favourite one I've done. I don't want to take them off, but I'm so far behind on this challenge that I've only got a couple more days and a lot more prompts to do.

OMD3 Day 26: Peace

I wanted to make 'peace' look as hippie as possible, so I wanted to do something that looked tie-dye. I also decided to use tape to make a peace sign in negative space. I'm not sure how I like the peace sign in comparison to the tie-dye because it gets sort of lost. It may have worked better with thicker tape, though.
